Would you know what to do if you came across an emergency whilst out cycling or walking? Could you give medical support to a friend or family member while you waited for the emergency services to reach your remote location?
If you spend time in the outdoors, whether for work or pleasure, you should always be prepared to deal effectively with any first aid related incidents. This outdoor first aid course will give you the skills and confidence required to deal with common injuries sustained in the outdoors ranging from simple cuts and grazes to broken limbs, head and back injuries and hypothermia.

Important Course Information:
Attendance will be consistent with the advice from the Scottish Government regarding COVID-19. Any participants or household members MUST NOT be displaying any known COVID-19 symptoms. Outfit Moray will follow Scottish Government guidelines to ensure the risk of community transmission of COVID-19 is as low as reasonably practical. Please be aware that we will be delivering the course under the Worksafe Training Systems guidelines for social distancing during first aid courses, details of which you can find here. Due to the nature of these guidelines, this course will be more theory and classroom based, with ‘hands on’ practical elements being greatly reduced whilst any COVID-19 guidelines are in place.
To ensure adequate ventilation, windows and doors will be kept open, plus there will be a large element of outdoor work during this course. Please make sure you are dressed warmly and have the appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear for the weather conditions.
You will be paired up for scenario work, so if you know someone else who is looking for the same course, why not let them know!
