Archery & Crate Climbing
2 August :9:30 am - 3:30 pm£25.00
Archery is the art, sport, practice, or skill of using a bow to shoot arrows. The word archery comes from the Latin arcus for bow and was historically used for hunting and combat, but now it’s a merely a popular sport and is even included in the Olympics. Participants will learn the basic skills and techniques required to hit the bullseye and give them the confidence to perhaps go on to join a local group or club.
Imagine a giant Jenga with crates and ropes and you have crate climbing. Great fun to be had, with participants challenging themselves to build a tower of crates as high as possible before it collapses and they are left swinging safely from a rope.
Participants will spend half the day learning archery and half the day doing crate climbing.
