From starting out with balance bikes to improving bike skills, we will have a variety of bikes in different sizes to suit children aged 4 to 11. Simply book your session and then let the instructor know what level of cycling or instruction the young person needs on the day – we can even provide a bike and helmet.
Please note: sessions are up to 45mins and will depend on the child’s ability and concentration. The outcome will also be child-led, meaning they may not learn to ride their bike for example, but they will be a lot further on their learning journey but if you do feel your child will need more than one session, it is advisable to book sessions on separate days. Please bear in mind that we don’t teach bike tricks such as wheelies etc.
Please make sure you child is suitably dressed to ride a bike and appropriate for the day’s weather, but in clothes that won’t interfere with the wheels or chain (long coats for example). They should also be wearing sturdy footwear (no wellies, flip flops or strappy sandals etc).
