Family Gorge Walking

Gorge walking takes participants well off the beaten track, through an exhilarating landscape of waterfalls, plunge pools and fast-moving water, carved at the bottom of the ravine. There are waterfalls to be climbed, slides to be descended, jumps to be jumped and pools to be swum. We will supply warm winter wet suits and wet suit boots to keep everyone warm while they enjoy the thrill of a lifetime.

We want to enable families to get outdoors and learn together, so this is session is available for adults to participate in with their young people and share the experience; whether that’s mum, dad, granny, grandad, auntie, uncle or guardian. Age is just a number!

Cost: £30 per person

Spaces are limited to EIGHT and available to families only (ages 8+). No lone adults or unaccompanied young people are to be booked onto this activity.

We will provide all the necessary equipment (inc wetsuits where appropriate) but please make sure everyone is appropriately dressed in suitable, warm clothing, is wearing sturdy footwear and has the following with them:

• Backpack (can be provided)
• Packed lunch
• Water bottle
• Swimwear (water-based activities)
• Towel and change of clothes (if appropriate)

Attendance will be consistent with the advice from the Scottish Government regarding COVID-19  Any participants or household members MUST NOT be displaying any known COVID-19 symptoms. Outfit Moray will follow Scottish Government guidelines to ensure the risk of community transmission of COVID-19 is as low as reasonably practical.
