Standup paddle boarding (SUP) is an offshoot of surfing that originated in Hawaii. Unlike traditional surfing where the rider sits until a wave comes, stand up paddle boarders stand on their boards and use a paddle to propel themselves through the water, testing the rider’s balance and co-ordination skills. We will provide all the kit needed to keep the participants warm and safe including wet suit, paddleboard, a paddle, buoyancy aid and helmet – they just need to bring a sense of adventure! As well as paddle boarding, there will be a bushcraft session which will include cooking snacks over their homemade campfire.
