Duckies are small inflatable rafts; they are paddled the same way as a canoe or kayak and, for this adventure, participants will spend the day in duckies on the River Spey, negotiating its bends and rapids, learning new skills or improving those of more advanced paddlers.
We want to enable families to get outdoors and learn together, so this is session is available to adults to participant in with their young people and share the experience; whether that’s mum, dad, granny, grandad, auntie, uncle or guardian. Age is just a number!

*Spaces are limited to SIX per session and available to families and group bookings only from ages 8 up (no unaccompanied young people).
We provide all the technical equipment needed for the day, but please make sure everyone is appropriately dressed in suitable, warm clothing, is wearing sturdy footwear and has the following with them:
- Backpack (can be provided)
- Packed lunch
- Water bottle
- Swimwear (water based activities – we provide wetsuits)
- Towel and change of clothes (if appropriate)
Attendance will be consistent with the advice from the Scottish Government regarding COVID-19 Any participants or household members MUST NOT be displaying any known COVID-19 symptoms. Outfit Moray will follow Scottish Government guidelines to ensure the risk of community transmission of COVID-19 is as low as reasonably practical.
