Outfit Moray have an opportunity for young people in Moray aged 8 to 18 years who have a disability which has meant they haven’t had the opportunity to participate in outdoor learning and adventure due to complex access requirements. The young people need to be able to manage stairs with support and walk distances of up to 2km and the sessions are available to siblings, who are young carers, to participate alongside.
Where the craft specified does not support the disability we will substitute for a suitable craft and we have a selection of aids which can be used to assist young people with holding paddles, plus supported seating.
Places are limited to 6 people aged 8 to 18 and all are meet at venue.
The activities on offer may vary depending on the young people’s abilities and the weather, but will generally consist of the programme below: (please be aware you are signing up for all 5 activities at the same time for each activity).
